Recommendations for home adaptations 

• I will arrange an appointment to visit the property to assess the disability needs of the resident and survey the building.

• An Occupational Therapy report will then be prepared which describes the current situation and highlights issues which need to be addressed.

• Detailed recommendations are then made accompanied by specifications, diagrams and photographs. 

• This cost effective service can usually be provided at short notice.

Occupational Therapy reports for Disabled Facilities Grants

• This service is usually provided for an organisation, such as a Home Improvement Agency, which assists disabled people in finding DFG funding for home adaptations.

• Following a home visit a detailed Occupational Therapy report will be prepared and recommendations made to support a DFG application.

• Specifications, diagrams and photographs are provided with each adaptation recommendation.

Recommendations to provide disability equipment

• I can arrange an appointment to visit to assess disability needs in the home environment.

• An Occupational Therapy report will then be prepared, complete with recommendations for necessary disability equipment.

• Advice on sourcing this equipment will also be provided.

• This cost effective service can usually be provided at short notice.

 

Assessments for Local Authorities​​

• Over the past 27 years I have worked closely with many Local Authorities all over London providing assessments, reports and case management.

• This work has often been associated with projects to reduce waiting lists of disabled people awaitng an Occupational Therapy assessment.

• My service has been found to be very efficient and cost effective.

• I can either work alongside the Local Authority Occupational Therapy team managing case turnover.

• Alternatively I can accept batch referrals of cases and can return full and detailed Occupational Therapy reports and recommendations on cost effective terms with a rapid turnover.
